Paul O Grady blames wrinkles for the demise of Lily Savage

Paul O Grady reveals wrinkles are the reason his alter ego Lily Savage will not return.

“I’m 57, I feel I’m 207. I look in the mirror and I think, ‘That’s not a wrinkle, it’s a gutter across my face!. That’s the exact quote from Paul O’ Grady as he  announced there will be no more Lily Savage on the small screen.

The presenter, who has released the latest volume of his memoirs, Still Standing, is dusting off the heels to bring Lily back in panto this Christmas, as Widow Twankey in Aladdin at the O2. But he said that this will be the last time.

He also blames technology.  High definition will show up all the wrinkles. Lily Savage will never do telly again. Not with HD,” he admitted.

How many cosmetic procedures has Joan Rivers had? Get ready for a shock!

SO HOW MUCH COSMETIC SURGERY HAS JOAN RIVERS HAD?

Joan Rivers has revealed the number of procedures she has undergone. It’s a shocking 739.  Her attitude to cosmetic surgery is quite relaxed as she states “Every weekend I just go in and I do something new. I get a 10th one free. It’s a little like coffee you just keep going,” Rivers reportedly quipped.

With her 80th birthday approaching, Joan answers her critics in ture Joan style. She told The Huffington Post, “I don’t give a damn what people think. If you don’t like my opinion, too bad. That’s the only good thing about age.”

Melissa, Joan’s daughter and co-star on “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?”, is none too happy with how often her mother goes under the knife but has little say in the matter once Joan’s made her decision.

Joan Rivers is a force of nature – and one of the hardest-working celebrities in the world – comedian, best-selling author, Tony-nominated actress, playwright, screenwriter, motion picture director, columnist, lecturer, syndicated radio host, Emmy Award-winning television talk-show host, jewelry designer, red-carpet fashion laureate, businesswoman, and, most important to her, a mother and a grandmother.

With a CV like that you sure need to keep up appearances. 739 could easily be a guiness record for the number of procedures on one single woman.
